The hotel's location is superb, facing the beautiful beach and within walking distance of all the action and restaurants. The rooms had some cleanliness issues with filthy floors and caked-on dirt, but the service was unobtrusive yet responsive. Staying at this hotel was a mixed experience. The rooms had a creepy old horror movie vibe with mildew in the bathroom that made showering impossible. However, the location was fantastic, right across from the beach with plenty of nearby restaurants. The breakfast was disappointing with rotten fruits, but the fresh farm-to-table products were a redeeming quality.

The hotel room I booked had 2 queen-size beds and was decorated very nicely. The place gave me a bit of a scare initially, especially as I had to wait 40 minutes for the check-in which was frustrating. However, after seeing it in daylight, I felt even more disappointed and spent the 40 minutes taking photos to show how bad it was. I did manage to get a partial refund eventually, but was charged $250 as a penalty for not staying there, which I'm still trying to sort out with no luck in getting a response to my calls and emails. The beach view would have been excellent if the window glasses had been clean.

I was initially frustrated with the wait for the room key due to a small mishap, but once inside, the horror deepened. I spent the waiting time capturing photos of what seemed like a place from nightmares. Despite receiving a partial refund, there was an unjust penalty charge. Communication with the hotel for reimbursement proved futile, leaving a bitter taste of disappointment. Avoid this place at all costs!
